Lately I've really been thinking about bridesmaid dresses. I'm pretty positive on the fact that I think I want black or gray. I really like the simple elegance of a little black dress that just screams "I look damn good and I know it!" Where I'm coming in to trouble is whether or not to have matching dresses or not. I kind of like the idea of all of the girls having different dresses, in a similar silhouette. And if I went with black, it would be super easy to find different dresses in the same color. Black is black, right? I wanted to get my fellow blogger's opinion. What do you think? Do you like the idea of different dresses, or are you a matchy-matchy kind of gal? Help me out!

My friend had 9 bridesmaid and no one could agree on a dress they liked. Finally she just told us to all wear a little black dress and it totally worked. Some of the silhouettes were totally different but they were all knee length and I think it looked great!

I had the same dilemma at one point. What swung it for me was that I totally fell in love with the one BM dress, which we had. I do really like the mismatched look though. You'll know from seeing your BMs try some on, you're doing the right thing by keeping an open mind.
Matching dresses look great in photos, but mismatched dresses when coordinated right are just as fab! I'm not helping, am I? LOL
We are going for the mismatched look...I think. lol
Laura: I love the way your friends bridal party looks! That exactly the kind of look I was picturing in my head! Thanks so much for sharing the pic. It helps alot.
Always Wright: You're right. Maybe I'll fall in love with one dress. I didn't even think about that. I guess I've got to get my girls in some dresses then!
Mimi: HAHA you crack me up! You worded my dilemma perfectly!
Miss Tat: Are you?? That's exciting. Was it hard for you to decide to do that?
I am also having black and I plan to do matching dresses. I am not type A but every time I see mismatching dresses I just don't like it.
