25 Prettiest Spring Bouquets

It's spring time. And it's wedding season. How much better could things get? Well, I could spend the next few minutes talking about gorgeous bouquets. Yes, that would be better. So here it goes.

Booking a florist is one of the items still on my to-do list. With 6 months to go until my wedding (as of today!), it's probably something that I should do. But, thinking about picking a bouquet is a really hard decision for me. I've never been a huge flower lover. I mean I've always liked them, but not any more than the average person. For some reason though, when they're put into perfectly coordinated little groups, cutely tied together and carried by a woman in white (and her bridesmaids), I become a flower FANATIC. I often find myself looking at pictures of bouquets and quite literally gasping out loud. Yes, I love them that much. I'm getting married in the fall, but couldn't be more head over heals for a good spring bouquet. The pastel colors, the soft, fluffy textures – they're just so romantic. Here's a collection of 25 spring bouquets that I adore, right down to the last petal.

What's your favorite flower season?

Citrus Wedding (Green, Yellow & Orange)

With the dreary weather that is making its way across the U.S., I thought it was time for a little pick-me-up. I wanted something that just screams, "Spring is here!" to make me forget my winter-woes. What better way to do that than with bright pops of yellows, greens, and oranges? These three colors together are so bold, so energized, and so much fun that you can't help but smile when you look at them. Any girl who is confident enough to rock this bright color palette on her wedding day gets huge kudos from me. I mean, a wedding that looks like this just has to be fun (especially with bridesmaids in big floppy hats!). Pair it with lots of white details to keep it grounded and slightly subdued. Lovely!

Pink, Blue, Green & Yellow

A couple of days ago I had an email from one of my readers explaining how she was having trouble with her wedding color palette. She knew the colors she wanted for her March 2011 wedding, but was having trouble picturing how they would all come together. Anyone who has planned a wedding knows how she feels! So, to help her out, Andrea asked me to come up with an inspiration board for her that would bring her vision to life. Of course, I was more than happy to help! Wedding inspiration is what I love, so I jumped at the chance to do this for her.

Andrea explained to me what she was looking for: something sweet and subtle with colors that reflected the fact that she was getting married in the spring. She wanted green (for her fiancé's eyes), blue (for her eyes), yellow (for her senior prom dress), and pink (for a pop of fun).

In fact, she found this picture from The Perfect Palette that represented her colors perfectly:

Beautiful, huh? The colors are soft and pretty, but fun and elegant, and so perfect for spring. My job was to take these colors and turn them into an inspiration board that would really help her envision these colors in a wedding.

I must say, I think it turned out beautifully! The colors are just soft enough that they work perfectly together without overpowering one another. The navy blue adds some depth, and the pink adds that touch of fun that Andrea was looking for. I am in love with this palette! If only I was getting married in the spring.....

So what do you think? Do you think I captured her colors nicely?

Thank you Andrea for the opportunity to build this beautiful board for you! If anyone else has any requests, please don't hesitate to email me. I would love to help! Shardiy@b-y.net.
