Barn + Red Roses

A couple days ago, I had another board request from one of my lovely readers! There is nothing that I love more than helping people bring their visions together into one cohesive look. Cindy knew some elements that she wanted for her wedding, but couldn't picture how it would all look together –which is where I come in! Cindy is getting married in August in an old restored barn. She really wanted red to be the main color in her wedding, with white as a secondary color. She was also positive that she wanted all her flowers to be roses (how elegant is that?). She wanted a romantic feeling with hints of rustic-chic and elegance.

I got to work right away, and came up with this lovely board:

red country wedding
Center: roses
First row: mini pie, shoes, dress, glasses
Second row: roses, boutonniere
Third row: birch vase, lantern
Fourth row: dessert, table setting, cupcakes, bridesmaids

Isn't is pretty? I love the combination of traditional elegance (in the roses), and rustic elements. It's such an unexpected combo, which is why it works so well. Because she's getting married in a barn, she has the luxury of being able to use wood accents, lanterns and candles to create a romantic glow in the whole place. I can just imagine how gorgeous those roses will look when paired with all that glowing light. There is no doubt that Cindy will be able to take this inspiration and turn it into a gorgeous reality!

I just have to post Cindy's reaction to seeing the board because it made me so happy to see her so happy.

Here's what she said, "Omg!!!!!! I am speechless!! It's absolutely wonderful. I love it!!! Thank you so much. It's exactly what I was looking for and what I needed. Thank you! Thank you!! You're awesome."

Isn't she so sweet? You're welcome Cindy! It was my pleasure.

I love making boards for my readers. So, if you have a particular theme/color combo that you would like to see brought to life, send me an email (shardiy@b-y.net). I would love to help you in any way that I can!

The red is so pretty! I thought about using red as one of our wedding colors, but having been in two other weddings where red was "the color," I knew I wanted something different.
