A couple of days ago I had an email from one of my readers explaining how she was having trouble with her wedding color palette. She knew the colors she wanted for her March 2011 wedding, but was having trouble picturing how they would all come together. Anyone who has planned a wedding knows how she feels! So, to help her out, Andrea asked me to come up with an inspiration board for her that would bring her vision to life. Of course, I was more than happy to help! Wedding inspiration is what I love, so I jumped at the chance to do this for her.
Andrea explained to me what she was looking for: something sweet and subtle with colors that reflected the fact that she was getting married in the spring. She wanted green (for her fiancé's eyes), blue (for her eyes), yellow (for her senior prom dress), and pink (for a pop of fun).
In fact, she found this picture from The Perfect Palette that represented her colors perfectly:
Beautiful, huh? The colors are soft and pretty, but fun and elegant, and so perfect for spring. My job was to take these colors and turn them into an inspiration board that would really help her envision these colors in a wedding.
I must say, I think it turned out beautifully! The colors are just soft enough that they work perfectly together without overpowering one another. The navy blue adds some depth, and the pink adds that touch of fun that Andrea was looking for. I am in love with this palette! If only I was getting married in the spring.....
So what do you think? Do you think I captured her colors nicely?

Thank you so much, Shardi!! We love it! We're pretty sure these are the colors we're going to use and this has really added to our vision. I'll be sure to let you know how it all comes together. You are the best!
