Halloween at IU

Since it's Halloween, I think it calls for a special post. I just HAVE to share my weekend at Indiana University with you guys. I know it's not the slightest bit wedding-related, but I'm going to do it anyways!

First of all, I must say that this was one of the best Halloween weekends I've had in a really long time. I went to IU to visit my fiance, and was lucky enough to spend the weekend with some of my very best friends from high school (and a few others that I love too!). It was a whirlwind few days that included two different sets of costumes, tailgating and lots and lots of gnomes.

Friday night was the first night of dressing up. Costumes included: hippies/1970's garb, Tyler Durden from Fight Club, a kindergarten teacher (a very sexy one I might add), and a troll doll.

Steph (dressed in my mom's 1970's clothes), Fletch (brother) & Brandt (fiance & Tyler Durden look-alike)

Saturday morning kicked off with an early football game. I have no idea who was playing (surprise, surprise), but I did enjoy tailgating.

Saturday night is when the real fun began. All of our friends were finally in town to celebrate so we were able to go all out. We got dressed up in our costumes, headed to a friend's place to start the night off, then ended at an extremely crowded bar where we danced our socks off and met all kinds of interesting people.

Costumes included: A large group of lawn gnomes (People walking/driving by were OBSESSED with seeing us all walking down the street together), a Tooth-fairy mocking the "Occupy Wall-Street" protesters (you'll see what I mean in a minute), a Tour de Franzia bike rider (who carried around a bag of Franzia wine all night), a guy dressed like his girlfriend–complete with bra, a studly Greek god & goddess and Zapp Brannigan from Futurama.

Yay Halloween!

And that was my Halloween weekend in a nut shell. Is 24 too old to still be dressing up? I don't think so.
